I am a dedicated Relationship Manager working within financial services, having held roles as Bank Manager, Credit Underwriter and Commercial Finance Broker for over 25 years. A proven track record in business development within the SME sector. I love working with business owners across a varied landscape of industries, funders, and stakeholders at every level. I don’t give up easily and problem-solving and overcoming challenges are a real passion for me when supporting business owners and securing funding for them. I enjoy working in a team and seeing the rewards that collaboration brings and have a fantastic network of professionals around me to call upon. I am an FCA approved CEO and have a portfolio of Non-Executive Directorships, all of which I am passionate about. This follows on from enjoying a successful strategic leadership career in the finance industry, where I predominately led businesses providing lending solutions to SMEs. When I set up Productivity Finance, I was determined its purpose would be more than simply helping businesses find finance. I wanted that finance to be structured in a way that would be easy on cash flow and could springboard improvements in the productivity and profitability of the business itself. That is very much our ethos today. My role is to work on the strategy for the business with Neil, develop our growing number of professional introducers and make sure the business is run with the right levels of control and oversight. Outside of work, I am a family man with rapidly growing up children and a weakness for Arsenal. We have a house in Spain, which I bolt to whenever work allows.

I am a business owner and founder with more than 30 years’ commercial experience in finance and marketing. During my career, I have worked with major corporates, established small businesses and venture-invested start-ups and have developed a comprehensive understanding of the financial services landscape. I'm a Chartered Marketer, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM) and Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB). My role is to develop the strategy for Productivity Finance and lead on our business development and marketing activities. If I don’t answer my phone, it is normally because I’m pedalling frantically and trying to maintain my target of cycling 1000km per month. My lockdown project has been to learn Spanish, which I do a little of every day. Sadly, I still remain unintelligible to most natives.
